Music For Moonbathing is the first release of Too Soon Tapes, a cassette label whose intention is to combine electronic music and synthy, hazy or deviant pop music. Music For Moonbathing brings together artists whose music can be instrumental or vocal and sometimes sung in French. The compilation choses to match the nebulous and rough sides of electronic music with pop immediacy. One way to reach both ends of the spectrum. Black and white ambient, end-of-the-world synth-pop and spectral ritornello develop on each side of the mirror. Synthetic ribbons flash before the eyes. The textures drill through the loops like photographic grain. Quirky kicks awaken a roadside melancholy. Too Soon Tapes may not always sounds like this. But today, this is its voice.
